A reading hall under timber columns and clerestory light, open to the lake promenade.

A long timber screen gathers a theatre, a music school and a public hall under one low roof facing the square.

A three-storey atrium becomes the school’s common room: a place to cross, wait, meet and read under daylight.

Deep brick reveals give rhythm and shade to a workplace built around a planted courtyard.

A curved plaster foyer opens the existing hall to the park and turns the interval into a walk among trees.

A thin roof on slender columns shelters travellers and frames the valley beyond the tracks.

A single linear skylight runs the full length of the galleries, letting the day itself become part of the collection.
